If the VTR is connected to a sole workstation, the system manages user queues and controls MXF devices from any remote terminal. VSNscenes also enables the management of the associated metadata, fully automatic disk content upload, creating EDLs on the lo-res contents, voice-over and import of the EDL created by the cameraman or deck operator. Finally, the system allows the selection of MXF as the standard format for the rest of the tapeless workflows, or a loseless transcoding to AVI for the selected hi-res files.
